Liquitex Acrylic Heavy Gesso

A ready-mixed painting ground, Liquitex Acrylic Gessos prime surfaces and add the right level of tooth for optimum color stability, adhesion, and absorbency. Apply to stiffen canvas and provide an archival base to a wide variety of supports and surfaces, including canvas, paper, and wood.

Suitable for use with a variety of mediums, including graphite, pencil, charcoal, acrylic and oil paints and mediums, and chalk and oil pastels, Liquitex Acrylic Gessos can be used undiluted or thinned with up to 25% water - when thinning more than 25%, use an equal mixture of water and Liquitex Matte Medium.
